Shonen Club Cuts 05/06/2011.
The sixth episode this year and the first "regular" Shonen Club episode since the departure of Koyama and Nakamaru as hosts in February. And it was a great one. (All videos  are 1024 x 576 Res., all are Avi, all are on Mediafire. Credit for FS : Shokura@lj ). Episodes theme is "Kibou" ("Hope").

Kibou  ~ Yell ~

After an atmospheric intro the opening song is "Kibou~Yell~", performed by Arioka Daiki, B.I.Shadow, A.B.C-Z, Kis-My-Ft2, Morimoto Shintaro, Snow Prince Gasshoudan, TOY, some of JaPAnese Hi! ( Sato Shori, Kuramoto Kaoru, Takashi Rin, Jinguuji Yuta, Matsushima Sou and two others who I could not identify clearly), Hip Hop Jump, Nozawa Yuki, Sanada Yuma and last but not least Morita Myuto and Watanabe Haruki. Very good starter! Good news: As expected Kadoi Kento and Kouchi Yugo are back to Hip Hop Jump/B.I.Shadow again. Not so good news: The designer of B.I.Shadows costumes must have had a veeery bad day as he or she was doing these. Or the taylor just didn't finished them in time ("What? The recording is today? But I'm just halfway through!") Especially the ones of Nakajima Kento and (even worse) of Matsumura Hokuto are looking extremely ridiculous.

Special guest Kamenashi Kazuya performs his 2005 song "Kizuna" with Question? as second opener.

Intro Talk

Intro Talk with this months hosts Yaotome Hikaru, Arioka Daiki and Nakajima Yuto with Kamenashi Kazuya about Sendai (Hikarus hometown), the ramifications of the tsunami there and new hope (wich is, as you remember, the episodes theme).

Kibou Medley

The Kibou Medley started with "Snow Prince" by Morimoto Shintaro and Snow Prince Gasshoudan with a new choreo wich was really nice to watch, but seemed a bit odd to the mood of the song.

TOY performed "Kimi no Tame ni Boku ga Iru" with Haruki and Myuto, B.I.Shadow did "Flower", still with Haruki and Myuto backing up.

JaPAnese Hi! performed "Yuuki 100%" with Hip Hop Jump joining in and the last song "Original smile" is performed by all the ones mentioned above together (Including a headspin by Takahashi Fu ). I love Junior-Medleys, and this one was no exception. Great. On a side note: Hashimoto Ryo made an conspicuous happy impression during the whole medley and especially during "Original smile", even outshinig Johnnys brightest smile Murata Rikito.

Junior Youbin

"Junior Youbin", the new letter reading section hosted by Nakajima Kento and Kitayama Hiromitsu that replaced "You no Otegami Yomi tai desu". Featuring Kouchi Yugo and Kuramoto Kaoru ( who manages to have a completley new look in every episode since his first appearance in January up to date).

 Dream ~Itsutsu no Negai~

"Dream ~Itsutsu no Negai~" by A.B.C-Z. Nice song, nicely decorated set, nice performance. Nothing to complain, except that I really would like to see an A.B.C-Z performance any time soon again where they can display their awesome dancing skills. Latley they only doing ballads on Shonen Club..

Someday for Somebody

"Someday for Somebody" performed by Kamenashi Kazuya with the very best that Shonen Club has to offer ( B.I.Shadow, TOY, Hip Hop Jump, Watanabe Haruki, Morita Myuto and some others). Really great! The choreo is wonderful and tought-out (especially during the "pink  phase") . It can't hardly get very much better than this. Ten of ten points!

Brand new season / Try again

Medley of "Brand new season" and "Try again" by Kis-my-Ft2. I liked the first part better, because I still like the song. "Try again" starts not bad, too, but the song is soon ripped apart by a horrible plastic-drum sound beat (similar to the one that also killed most of NYCs songs). Pity!

Jr. ni Q is hosted by Fujigaya Taisuke and Kawai Fumito. Haven't seen that coming. On the board: Kikuchi Fuma, Tanaka Juri, Nakajima Kento and (as always when the topic is food) Kyomoto Taiga.

Can do! Can go!

The ending talk of Hikaru,Daiki and Yuto slips into the performance of "Can do! Can go!" with almost everyone who was involved in this episode one stage (except for Kame and parts of JaPAnese Hi!). Very nice and overcrowded endstage.

A great episode!! Not only because it featured Watanabe Haruki and Morita Myuto that often (It was years ago that both of them had that much screentime!), but this was of course a big plus to me..

Is it just me, or does Hashimoto Ryo looks here like making massive fun of  Kentos "outfit" while presenting himself in his  much better looking suit?
