We are the future

Shonen Club Cuts 01/13/2012. Theme: "Mirai" (Future)
All videos are 1024 x 576 Res., Avi, all on Mediafire. Credits for FS to shokura@lj.

Opening

The opening is also the theme medley of the episode. After a short welcome by Sato Shori the medley starts with "Sexy Zone" by (you guess it) Sexy Zone. JaPAnese Hi! and Question? are in the back during this and all following parts, but you won't see much of Question? because they are hiding behind a wall of juniors. Arioka Daiki, Takaki Yuya and Nakajima Yuto are entering the stage to perform "Dreams come true" with Sexy Zone. After that Yuto and Yuya are moving asides where they dance to Daikis very short performance of "Kimi to Boku no Future" with Hip Hop Jump, then Yuya changes to the center to sing "Oretachi no Seishun" with Noon Boyz while Yuto replaces Yodogawa Yoshihiro on drums. Wich leads to "Dash!!" in wich Yuya, Daiki, Yuto and Noon Boyz are joined by TOY. Very good opener!! But the performances of "Kimi to Boku no Future" and "Oretachi no Seishun" were ..well..shortish.

Intro Talk

Intro Talk and announcement of the theme "future" by Daiki, Yuya and Yuto (who should consider to become a model for knitwear fashion as sideline, but that's just by the way.)

I see the Light ~Bokutachi no Stage~

First on-screen performance of "I see the light ~Bokutachi no Stage~" by Sexy Zone. The song didn't impressed me as much as the other songs on the CD, but now with this performance I start to really, really like it!  Kikuchi Fuma is still missing but this time his absence isn't as troublesome as in the "Sexy Zone" performance last episode. Most likely because we aren't used to this choreo, yet. As a bonus Morimoto Shintaro is placed right behind the spot of the missing Sexy Zone member and so you can watch him here in a performance at leisure for the first time since I don't know when. Shintaro was one of the few juniors in the back (JaPAnese Hi! and Hip Hop Jump) who constantly sang along. Either he really likes this song or he is still not used to do a choreo without doing vocals..Anyway, really nice performance, nice choreo and surprisingly..really nice song!!
Out of the performances in this episode my definite highlight !

Junior YOUBin

And here is my non-performance highlight: The Junior YouBin presented by Kawai Fumito and Nakajima Kento. The requested juniors are Jinguji Yuta (wich already explains why it is a highlight to me) and Haniuda Amu. No big surprises contentual, at least not to regular watchers of Johnnys Jr. Land and readers of magazines like Duet or Wink Up, but who cares? So it's about favourite food, admired Sempais (Kimura Takuya - Yuta / Sakurai Sho - Amu), of course Yuta has to mention that his special skill is karate and we get to hear that if he should decribe himself in one word it would be "cool". Wich is also no big surprise. But, well he IS cool, so why not saying it yourself? Amus special skill is watching movies, wich is a great special skill, I think. He also describes himself as "K.Y." wich is an abbreviation of "kuuki yomenai" (kuuki means air and yomenai means not able to read, so K.Y means a person who can't read the atmosphere very well and/or lacks social tact). I don't know him well enough yet, but because of what I saw on Johnnys Jr. Land it seems to me not being totally unfitting. And why shouldn't I believe what he says. Very sympatico!

Medley

Medley by Nakayama Yuma solo ("Garasu no Mahou") and with NYC ("Yoku Asobi Yoku Manabe" and "Yumetamago"). I was surprised of Yumas "Garasu no Mahou" because I expected him to sing the whole song, so I was somewhat uneuphoric as Yamada and Chinen suddenly hopped on stage. To my surprise "Yoku.." and "Yumetamago" are working much better for me in a medley than in full form. And there was also Morita Myuto in the back for my personal pleasure, so I won't complain. But I think I would have preffered a full version of "Garasu no Mahou" instead of this medley still.

Talk

Talk part with Daiki, Yuya and Yuto (slightly in inattentive mode, at least it seemed so to me) with NYC about the episodes theme.

Medley

Medley by A.B.C-Z of "Dream ~Itsutsu no Negai~" and "Suna no Garasu". I liked the second part much better. Very nice performance, altough personally I would have endorsed it if A.B.C-Z would have changed places with the boys in the golden suits (TOY, Myuto, Kishi Yuta) during "Suna no Garasu" . Don't take this remark to your heart if you're a fan of A.B.C-Z, I would have said that even if it was an Arashi performance, too.

Talk

Talk part with Daiki, Yuya, Yuto and A.B.C-Z about the their plans for the future. The DVD debut is only shortly mentioned , but Totsuka Shota informs us that he wants to do a movie like the Beatles "A hard day's night". I think you can call that ambitious (altough not as ambitious than to plan to do an album like "A hard day's night")

We never give up !

"We never give up!" by Kis-my-Ft2. Good performance (without rollerskates). Nothing much to complain here.

Jr. ni Q

Continuation of the Jr. ni Q of the previous episode, presented by Yuto and Yuya. On the board: Morohoshi Shoki with a very entertaining appearance, Takahashi Fu (or "Takahashi Fuuuh" to say it with Yuya), Haniuda Amu, who looks like he has shrinked  about half his size since the Junior YouBin (that's the price you have to pay if you're standing next to Nakajima Yuto instead of Nakajima Kento), Sanada Yuma and Tanaka Juri.

As much as I appreciate seeing Juri in every second Jr ni Q ( and I don't even get tired of hearing him speak about surpassing his brother Koki), but can somebody please, please bring Kadoi Kento to the board? He is still the only HipHopJumper who never appeared here (or in YouBin, Yan Yan Jump  or anywhere else !)

Medley

Announced as "Junior Medley", but I would label it as Kyomoto Taiga & Juniors medley because Taiga is clearly in the center of the performances (wich is not a complaint). The medley contains of "Seppaku no Tsuki" and "Shunkashutou". Taiga performs with Noon Boyz and Jesse Lewis/ Hagiya Keigo/ Matsumura Hokuto/ Anzawa Akatsuki, the grouping we are already kind of familiar with from the magazines and some performances at the end of the last year. Good performance, personally I liked the second part better but just because I like the song "Shunkashutou" better than "Seppaku no Tsuki".

Ending

After the final talk (also included in file) Yuya announces a song named "Boneinjiass". Bone in the ass? Doesn't sound like a typical Johnnys song. How suspenseful. But (luckily?) it turns out  the ending song is "Born in the earth". Performed by Daiki, Yuya and Yuto with JaPAnese Hi!, Noon Boyz and TOY. Hip Hop Jump, NYC and Sexy Zone (with Marius Yo and Matsushima Sou clearly recognizable on the high parts - Marius on the first two, Sou on the third and fourth) are joining in. Nice ending of a very nice show.
